What if your story became canon?

Hollywood locks myth behind contracts. Ex Uno opens the myth. Here your work is not a pitch. It becomes part of the universe.

The A Canon

The spine of history. The defining events written and safeguarded by Ex Uno.

The Alpha Canon

The human stories inside those events. Written, filmed, drawn and designed by creators like you.

Guidelines

Every revolution needs rules. These protect the myth and empower creators.

1. Don’t be destructive

Your story should build on the mythos, not erase it. Protect what others create. Deepen the universe without tearing down the foundations.

2. Stick to the character

Write from the inside. Stay true to a character’s voice, perspective, and limits. Don’t explain the world. Let us feel what your character survived inside it.

3. Use a Kubler-Ross stage

Every Alpha Canon story reflects grief. Anchor your character in one stage; denial, anger, bargaining, depression or acceptance. Their struggle gives depth and meaning.

4. Tell the character’s story

Go beyond reaction. Show change. A beginning, middle and end. Even short stories need an arc that reveals who they are becoming.

5. Keep it under 6 minutes

Brevity keeps the myth alive. Short films, tight scripts, fast reads, deliver your impact without losing force.

6. Keep it family friendly

Mature themes are welcome. Explicit content is not. Think Star Wars or Blade Runner: depth without exploitation.

These guidelines ensure your story becomes part of the living myth.

Minimum standards

To protect quality and keep submissions accessible, we’ve set clear technical standards. These ensure your work is seen, heard, and shared without barriers.

This time, history won't be written by the winners!

The Human Remnant

During brief interviews, a conspiracy theorist, a military officer and a historian give their insights into how human civilization could ever have arrived at such a desperate and tragic predicament.

The Last Exodus
